This workshop, led by Alexander Ebner, is for musicians, producers, and fans eager to explore the secrets of live sets – one of the most exciting art forms on the global scene. We’ll break down what a live set is, how it’s created, the tools you need, and what makes it different from a DJ set or studio production.
From concept to performance: improvisation, crowd interaction, choosing your gear (MIDI controllers, synthesizers, drum machines), and adding visuals for maximum impact.
Includes hands-on demos and tips to help you find the perfect setup for your style.
Open to everyone – from curious beginners to seasoned pros.
Closing with a special DJ set by Lois Lane & Mattia Lorenzi.
The workshop and dj-set take place at JUMP, Piazza S. Michele Appiano-Eppan.

Questo workshop è dedicato a musicisti, produttori e appassionati che vogliono scoprire i segreti dei live set, una delle forme espressive più vibranti della scena internazionale. Capiremo cos’è un live set, come nasce, quali strumenti servono e cosa lo distingue da un DJ set o da una produzione in studio.
Dal concept alla performance: improvvisazione, interazione col pubblico, scelta di macchine e strumenti (controller MIDI, sintetizzatori, drum machine) e come integrare elementi visivi per un impatto totale.
Dimostrazioni pratiche e tips per scegliere l’attrezzatura giusta in base al tuo stile.
Il workshop è aperto a tutti, dai curiosi ai professionisti.
A conclusione del workshop ci saranno DJ set di Lois Lane e Mattia Lorenzi.
